Challenge

Omatic approached theCodery with an idea to create an app that helped nonprofits clean up their messy data in a user-friendly way. Labelled ProperCase, Omatic saw this app as an easy sell for charitable organizations to clean names to proper case at scale, to enable a more professional look for mailings, letters, and communications with donors and prospects.

Labelled ProperCase, Omatic saw this app as an easy sell for charitable organizations to clean names to proper case at scale, to enable a more professional look for mailings, letters, and communications with donors and prospects.

Our business and Salesforce experts didn’t just immediately run off to build Omatic’s desired app. Instead, they asked, “How can we deliver a solution that has an even broader market appeal that will drive greater revenue for the customer?” theCodery saw quickly that focusing ProperCase to the name fields on just two objects was too limiting – why not open this up to clean data on any text field on any object, so it can be useful by any client in any Salesforce org? Seeing no difference in the effort to design and develop, theCodery enabled Omatic to execute their vision more flexibly and at a larger scale.
